Heather Currier Hunt, Perkins&Will
When you think of the transitions you have experienced in your career do they elicit happy memories or painful ones? Transitions can be hard! They can also be beautiful.
Because of the challenges so often associated with change and transitional times of life, we tend to rush through them. Sometimes because we personally want them to be over and sometimes because of external forces or needs that demand speed. But by rushing through the distinct phases of transitions that each have lessons to teach, we may be robbing ourselves of the wisdom only transitions can teach us.
Attendees will realize that they are not alone in facing these challenges and have significantly more power than they may have realized in harnessing transitions for themselves.
Join us for a one-hour breakout session where we will share stories, learn a framework to understand what transitions are, and leave with a roadmap for transition planning that demonstrates these tricky moments can be creative and powerful periods of growth in our leadership.
